Dokomi 2013 - Saturday and Sunday

I know it took me damn long to post again, sorry, ahaha...
But here come two new posts: about the Dokomi convention and the "Japantag" (Japan-day) this year~
First of I'll start with the Dokomi.

We went there with Shinpei and Sammy, as nearly every year now.
This now pretty big convention (12,000 visitors!) took place at the convention center in Düsseldorf and I reserved my weekend-ticket kinda last minute..
It's sooo so amazing how much this convention has grown over the past 5 years. ♥

On saturday Aiji, Shinpei and me wore our Adekan-cosplays finally!
I was so happy to wear it finally  - and suddenly it was fucking cold for mid May. Σ(･口･)
Half of the day it was grey, windy and cold - but later in the afternoon the sun finally showed up!
...Buuut unfortunately we forgot our camera.. n__n
So here are just some kinda bad quality pictures~

On sunday I originally wanted to wear Kuu again.. but because it was supposed to rain and there should be a thunderstorm later I didn't want to in the end - so I wore my Mad Maya cosplay-thingy once again because Aiji wanted to wear my Ah hah! cosplay... haha.
...Buuuut the weather was fucking great all day! Damn it..

We also took our dolls with us and made some nice shots~

Well, that was our Dokomi - quite nice but I'm still a little sad I couldn't wear my cosplays as planned...

We also met many nice people and friends, that made it a bit more happy!

Adekan Manga and Shiro Yoshiwara Test-Shooting

Hey again... ♥

So here's the promised second post for today.
...Since I got myself a long weekend we decided to head out together with Rumi and do a small photo shoot at the "Landschaftspark" here because the weather was starting to become really nice again.

In two weeks there's taking place one of my favourite convention again: The Dokomi in Düsseldorf!
I'm pretty excited about it and one of my planned cosplays will be a new one (the other is Kuu again).
It's Shiro Yoshiwara from the more and more popular manga 'Adekan' by Tsukiji Nao.
I simply loooove his character! He's mysterious, cheeky, elegant and somewhat cute but also a little arrogant and creepy sometimes. A 16-years old umbrella maker with a dark background...
The manga's not really Shounen-Ai but has a touch of it now and then, has a lot of humor, crime cases and simply stunning artwork. ♥
I can just recommend to everyone who hasn't read it yet! (In Germany it's also available in book stores.)

I don't really know..

Well, cosplayers here aren't that rare anymore, but what you mostly see are a few extravagant cosplays like from the outfit in the fourth picture - but rarely anyone pays attention to his/her face, impression and wig.. it seems like if you have a great outfit, everything else doesn't count. Well..

I'm not a really good crafter so I'm not gonna do what everyone else does.. you'll see. :3'

Anyways I wanted to practice posing and stuff so we did a small test shoot in a very improvised outfit consisting of my yukata and a self made hakama..

But here are the results:

I hope with the final result I can catch the atmosphere of the manga and the character eventhough I'm not the best and elitest cosplayer...

A small life update (pic heavy)

Hey everyone!

It's been a while now again, hasn't it?! (*￣Ｏ￣)ノ
University lectures started three weeks ago and so I'm very busy at the moment again.
There's sooo much to do this semester...! It's the last language course in Japanese and now we're up to things like analyzing statistics and do argumentations in Japanese.. gaaah. But nevertheless, it's fun.

My freetime has been spent mostly drinking and partying. ヘ(￣ω￣ヘ)
There was a KabukiRockStyle-Party again in the beginning of April in Essen..
It was quite okay but the music was baaad this time...

Well, we also went for some drinking and watching Avengers again with Shinpei last weekend but I didn't take any proper pictures sadly. 

When it became suddenly like.. a hot summer day we took Socke out for a small photoshoot!
She was so happy and I could take some nice photos. v(*￣▽￣*)

...Speaking of Iron Man.. Shinpei finally got me and now I'm having a nice cosplay plan for AnimagiC..
Please don't laugh at me! (Shinpei loves it! D8 XD; )

...(This was only a very first try of how I'd look with a beard and stuff, ahaha..)

I think with the right wig and some 'real' facial hair it could be okay!
I really wanna do a Tony-cosplay now... ^^; 

Also, my Shiro wig for Dokomi and Japan-Tag arrived yesterday - and it's purrfect! 

So happy I finally found a good one. 

(still lacking lenses, it was just a quick try...)

Well, that's it so far.. 

Tomorrow we're gonna go visit Luna for the first time, taking Aiji Yan and Masa with us. 

And now I'm gonna do homework.. Byeeee..!
